"Worth every penny! I have two children (kindergarten and 4th) who have greatly benefitted from working with Mrs. Gregg. My kindergartener was at "expected level" for reading. After participating in Mrs. Gregg's small group book club, she quickly mastered all kinder sight words and now "exceeds grade level expectations" for reading at school. I think the secret ingredient is that Mrs. Gregg is extremely patient and makes learning fun. My 4th grader needed help with spelling and reading. Because she hates homework, I was nervous about adding more after school academics to her plate. Miraculously, the transition was seamless and my child truly enjoys working with Mrs. Gregg. We started out with the agreement to try private tutoring for one month and when it came time to renew, my child voluntarily chose to continue her sessions with Mrs. Gregg for the entire school year. In addition to measurable academic results, I see a greater sense of confidence in both children as a result of working with Mrs. Gregg. I am so thankful to have found Mrs. Gregg. She has given both my children the extra help they needed to be their best selves in a way that was fun and engaging for them, while at the same time greatly reducing my stress by allowing me to be my children's academic cheerleader instead of a nagging homework drill sergeant. Three cheers for Lindsay Gregg!"

"My daughter was struggling with her reading and writing over the past year, and we knew we needed to look into some additional tutoring to help her catch up. We were so lucky to find Mrs. Gregg, an experienced teacher who has a passion for helping kids learn. Her creativity in her lesson plans, and advice given on how to make learning 'fun' at home, really helped our daughter progress. My daughter really looks forward to "playing school" with Mrs. Gregg, and we continue to work on the strategies given. I highly recommend Mrs. Gregg for anyone looking for some extra help!"

"Lindsay is an educator who is patient, creative, and flexible. She forms wonderful relationships with her students and makes learning meaningful for them. Lindsay's ability to work with children at a variety of levels, including those who need remediation, those who need enrichment, and everyone in between is impressive. I highly recommend Lindsay as a tutor. She makes learning fun!"

I find it difficult not to completely gush about the role Lindsay has played in both of my sons’ development and success. Our oldest son struggled with both reading and writing. The school had significant concerns and little faith that he could catch up to the rest of his class. This added to his frustration and low self esteem. Then we found Mrs. Lindsay. Her patience, warmth and individualized approach changed everything for my son. He is now reading 2 levels above his grade, has more confidence, and my favorite.. he now loves to read! When our youngest started 1st grade, we were surprised to learn he had been placed in a special program for struggling readers. Older brother was quick to tell him that he should spend time with Mrs. Lindsay if he wanted to learn from the best. He actually went into somewhat of an Oscar acceptance speech thanking Mrs. Lindsay for making him what he is today. Needless to say, with Mrs. Lindsay as our partner, our youngest quickly moved past the reading level required to begin the 2nd grade. We always want what is best for our children and without a doubt, that has been Mrs. Lindsay. I also have to call out the support and encouragement she has provided for me as that overwhelmed and concerned mom. She is brilliant with children and her authentic kindness and love of learning inspires my entire family.

When my daughter was in Kindergarten she was falling behind on reading so I reached out to friends for tutoring recommendations. I'm ever so grateful that Mrs. Lindsay had an opening in one of her small reading groups and was able to tutor my daughter. Mrs. Lindsay helped her with phonic tricks so well to where I remember a time when I was reading to her and she said, "mom that's not how you pronounce that word because the rule is... " and she was correct. I was amazed and from that point on my daughter always read to me. She climbed the reading levels and ended Kindergarten above standard level. She is now starting 3rd grade and reading over one year ahead of her level and is in Quest! Mrs. Lindsay is not just an amazing teacher but also she is so kind and in-tuned to how each child learns differently and helps them to achieve their fullest potential. This past year she has also been tutoring my 4 yr old in a private lesson to help her excel as well. Mrs. Lindsay is a gem and I feel so blessed she has taught/teaching my children.

Lindsay has been a game changer in not only my daughter’s reading success but in her overall academic confidence. She has offered out of the box and unique activities for her to maintain and even improve her level of reading. Lindsay has shown to offer a wonderful balance of patience and challenge. We could not be more grateful for the improvements we have seen and the pride our daughter takes in reading.

My son has taken classes with Lindsay for several years. She genuinely cares about the progress he makes, and is able to give him individual attention due to the small number of children in each class. My son’s writing has really improved thanks to Lindsay! When he started taking classes with her, he dreaded writing assignments at school. He is now in fourth grade and will be taking the writing portion of the STAAR test in a few weeks. Not only do I know that he is ready for the test, my son feels confident knowing that he is ready for the test. Lindsay deserves much of the credit for this added confidence.

My daughter started attending book club with Lindsay when she was in the 1st grade. She was behind in her reading level and I wanted her to get extra practice after school. I heard great things about Lindsay and thought I would give book club a try. After one semester, I could see that Katelyn's reading had improved. When she was tested again at school, she was moved into a higher reading group and was reading on level. Katelyn is now in the 2nd grade and she is reading above level! She still attends weekly classes with Lindsay but she is now in a class that combines reading and writing for extra practice. I'm no longer concerned about her reading ability. Linsday makes reading and writing fun and challenges Katelyn. I love that Lindsay keeps the class size small and the kids get a lot of individual attention. I attribute much of Katelyn's progress in reading and writing to the work she has done with Lindsay!
